Westbury, NY, August 04, 2008 --(PR.com
)-- Things are getting creative over at PebbleArt. There artists are carving their unique visions into the face of a variety of natural stones. The result has been a line of powerful and striking clocks that combine human visions of art with naturally occurring stone beauty.
The most prolific of these artists has been Minerva Stone, a masonry expert and stone fabricator that came to the company just a few months ago. Being immersed in such a creative environment, Minerva soon found a home for the burning artist visions which had lived locked away within his imagination his entire life.
The centerpiece of Minerva Stone’s collection is a stunning grandfather clock which stands 4 feat tall and is carved from slices of multicolored sandstone. Other visions include a line of granite wall clocks and mantel clocks whose designs range from rustic to abstract.
Another artist, who prefers to go just by the name of Jon, has also developed a number of inspiring designs. His latest is a mantel clock crafted entirely from translucent onyx stone. This piece contains a light which is embedded behind the face of the clock. When illuminated, the glow erupts inside of the stone causing it to glow in a variety of powerful colors. This piece can be converted into a hanging wall cock by attaching two brass chains to the sides, which allows it to be strung from a hook.
J Daegons, an established artist with the company who has had a prolific year so far has not been nearly as productive in the last few months. However it is easy to see his influence in the designs of many of the artists who are producing work there now.
PebbleArt has already gone into production, and plans to distribute these products to their retail customers in the next few months, allowing them to stock up before the holiday season. They are also offering them directly to the public via their online outlet at http://PebbleZ.com The artistic clocks can be seen specifically at http://pebblez.com/unique-artistic-clocks.html
