Get a Hold on Detectable Dispensing from Detectamet

A new range of Glove Dispenser and Calculator Store from Detectamet provides easy and safe access to disposable gloves, and a safe place to store a calculator. Made from detectable plastic in a choice of eight colours they are ideal for the food industry because any piece’s that break off can be identified and rejected by the detectors.

York, United Kingdom, March 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- A new range of Detectable Dispensers from Detectamet has been designed to offer an easy and safe way to access disposable gloves. They are supplied in a choice of sizes that can hold one or two glove boxes and can be combined with double box extensions to hold multiple boxes of different glove sizes.

The Dispensers are made from Detectamet's unique polymer from which pieces can be identified by metal detectors and X-ray inspection systems. They are supplied with keyhole points to enable wall fitting, and the choice of eight colours allow customers to satisfy any colour code systems they use to identify location or contents.

These low weight but tough products are ideal for all production areas because they are easy to clean with drainage slots in the base units. “We are delighted with the response to these new products,” said Sean Smith Detectamet’s CEO. “Our UK based factory has established a new manufacturing line, and it has opened up the possibility of many new detectable products made within our ISO 9001 certificated management structure.”

Sean showed another new product made to safely protect and store Detectamet’s Detectable Desktop Calculator. “Once mounted on the wall it is easy to take out the calculator and slide it back home to protect it from loss or damage” he explained. The Calculator Holder is also available in eight colours and like the Glove Dispensers can be hung from the wall using the keyhole attachment points. It also offers metal and X-ray detectability so that accidental contamination is less likely to result in recall and brand damage.

The dispensers can be vertically filled with standard boxes of 100 gloves encouraging the protection of the boxes and the hygienic dispensing of the gloves without damage or waste. Own branding is available and Detectamet's Laser Engraver service can be used to identify and inform the users. For more information contact: s.smith at detectamet.com
