)-- Hill, Chesson & Woody (HCW), a health and welfare benefits brokerage and consulting firm that designs, manages and implements employee benefit programs, will host a free educational seminar focusing on some new requirements of healthcare reform on Wednesday, April 30,at the Cape Fear Country Club, located at 1518 Country Club Rd. The program, second in HCW’s three-part Get Smarter series, will help prepare North Carolina employers for the impacts of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) on their health and welfare benefit plans.
As the ACA comes into full effect, this seminar will present new technologies that assist employers with gathering and reporting data needed to stay compliant with current rules and regulations. Tools for tracking employee hours for measurement periods and other required filings will be presented, as well as the reasons employers need to evaluate these tools now.
