Fairfield Harbour’s Mystre’ Van Horn Named Among Top Three On-Site Managers Nationally

Manager of Local Boating and Golf Community Receives National Recognition for Continued on-Site Management Service

New Bern, NC, April 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Fairfield Harbour, a residential boating and golf community located 15 minutes from historic New Bern, has announced that its community manager, Mystre’ Van Horn, has been named one of the top three on-site community managers in the United States by the Council of Community Association Professionals (CCAP).

This accomplishment follows Van Horn’s recognition last year as one of the top 50 on-site managers in the nation by CCAP and her win as the 2013 Manager of the Year by the Community Associations Institute’s North Carolina Chapter (CAI-NC). Having served as Fairfield Harbour’s community manager since 2011, she is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the community as well as overseeing the communication between staff, owners, committee members, board members and local leaders. Apart from her involvement with CAI-NC, Van Horn participates in a number of professional organizations, including the North Carolina Registered Parliamentarians (NCRP), the National Association of Registered Parliamentarians (NARP), National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM), Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and the Association Management Specialists (AMS).

For the final round of the competition to determine the national manager of the year, CCAP has opened voting to the public to help choose the top manager of the year among Van Horn and two other contestants. Ballots may be submitted on this page. Voting closes Sunday, April 27 at 6 p.m.
