Back to (Training) School with Brüel & Kjær

Sound and vibration specialist, Brüel & Kjær’s autumn training sessions are open for registration.

Royston, United Kingdom, August 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The company’s Theory and Practice of Noise Measurement course is aimed at environmental practitioners and consultants unfamiliar with the basics of acoustic measurement.

The two day session provides a basic understanding of acoustic and measurement principles, encompassing many applications such as noise abatement, product labelling and building acoustics. Attendees will be taught to carry out a host of noise measurements, correct set-up of measuring instruments and assessment of noise reports.

For anyone involved with vibration measurement, Brüel & Kjær’s Vibration Testing for Engineers and Technicians course offers a practical introduction, explaining how to interpret vibration test specifications and apply them to a vibration test system. It’s designed for engineers new to the field of vibration testing, but it is also a useful refresher for more experienced users.

Free online courses - called webinars - also run throughout the year. Registrants are welcome to join these hour long sessions and can even sign up for webinars run by Brüel & Kjær’s North American office. The UK sessions include training for Basic 2250 Sound Level Meter and MATRON users.
