Constellation Announces 2014 SuperNova Award Finalists

Constellation Research celebrates champions of disruptive technology for fourth year.

San Francisco, CA, September 04, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Constellation Research, Inc. the research and advisory firm helping clients dominate digital disruption announced the finalists of the fourth annual SuperNova Awards. The Constellation SuperNova Awards are the first and only awards to celebrate the leaders and teams who have overcome the hurdles of technology adoption to successfully introduce emerging and disruptive technologies to their organizations.

The finalists were selected from a pool of over 220 applications, and recognized by the SuperNova Award Judges as individuals who embody the SuperNova Award spirit to innovate and champion disruptive technologies within their organizations.

The winners of the SuperNova Awards will be announced at the SuperNova Awards Gala Dinner on October 29, 2014 in Half Moon Bay, California. The Gala Dinner will take place on the first night of Constellation’s Connected Enterprise innovation summit.

Selecting Finalists
The Constellation SuperNova Awards celebrate the explorers, the pioneers, and champions of technology that battle the odds to effect change in their organizations, and create disruptions in their market.

The SuperNova Award Judges, comprised of influential thought leaders and journalists, were individually selected for their futurist mindset and keen ability to separate substance from hype. The Judges evaluated all SuperNova Award applications against a rigorous set of criteria to identify applicants worthy of advancement to the finalist round.

The Constellation SuperNova Awards are awarded in seven categories that correspond with Constellation's business-focused research themes: Future of Work, Data to Decisions, Digital Marketing Transformation, Technology Optimization and Innovation, Consumerization of IT and the New C-Suite, Matrix Commerce, and Next Generation Customer Experience.

“The SuperNova Award competition gets tougher each year. This year is no exception. I was extremely impressed by the quality of this year’s applications. The list of finalists and their associated organizations points to a bigger trend: disruptive technology is proliferating to bigger organizations with more complex implementation requirements. These SuperNova Award finalists are leading the way for the rest of their industries by being the first to tackle the challenges of disruptive technology adoption and implementation,” commented R “Ray” Wang, Chairman and Founder of Constellation Research, Inc.

Selecting Winners
The SuperNova Award winners will be determined by a combination of public votes and judges’ votes. The judges’ votes will be weighted at 70% of the total.
Public polling opens on September 9, 2014 on the SuperNova Award page on the Constellation Research website. Constellation encourages the general public to vote for the finalist they deem most worthy of receiving a SuperNova Award for innovators in disruptive technology.

Voting will take place on the Constellation website from September 9 – 30, 2014.
