Workshop Helps Businesses Get Access to Financing

Local companies invited to learn how to secure funds for innovation, growth and expansion.

Marlborough, MA, September 12, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Marlborough Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce (MRCC) have teamed up to help local business owners secure financing for their new or existing ventures.

MEDC and MRCC will be hosting a free “Access to Financing” workshop on Friday, September 25, 2014 from 7:30 am to 9:15 am, where a panel of industry experts will be providing tips on how companies of all sizes can gain access to more capital.

The panel will consist of business professionals with various financial sector backgrounds, including:

- Paula Camara - Senior Business Advisor, Financial Specialist for Clark University Small Business Development Center;
- Larry LaChance - President of Bankers Capital;
- Thomas Allain - Senior VP/Commercial Loan Officer at Avidia Bank;
- Angela Knight - Business Assistance Officer, South Eastern Economic Development Corporation (SEED).

The workshop will be held at The Campus at Marlborough, 110 Campus Dr., UCLA Room, and will include a full complimentary buffet breakfast.

Registration is free and open to all business owners, who want to learn how to secure financing for their companies.
