Recently Merged Companies Move to Larger Shared Building

Hilliker Corporation assists newly joined companies with purchase.

St. Louis, MO, October 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Two of the Midwest’s leading suppliers of lifting devices joined forces and are ready to set up shop at their newly purchased building by year’s end.

Tri-State Equipment Company and Ergonomic Partners recently merged companies in May and will move to 4000 Fee Fee Road, a 37,000-square-foot building located in Bridgeton, Mo. Hilliker Corporation agent Powell Kalish represented the buyer, Tri-State Equipment. Gateway Commercial Real Estate agents Andy Port and Pat Reilly represented the seller, Justus Holdings, LLC. The building was purchased for $890,000.

Tri-State Equipment is currently located at 1323 Dunn Rd. in Spanish Lake. Ergonomic Partners is located at 111 Prospect Ave. in Kirkwood. Minor renovations will be made to the new building prior to moving in before Jan. of 2015.

“The two companies complement each other so well, which is why the merger made sense,” said co-owner Dan Benninger. “The new company will be known as Tri-State Equipment because it has been in business since 1959 and has a recognized name in the industry.”

Benninger explained that Tri-State Equipment is a leading supplier and service center for overhead cranes and hoists. Ergonomic Partners is a custom lift assist manufacturer specializing in improving worker productivity while reducing the risk and associated costs of worker injury. Benninger said that “together the newly formed business will serve its clients more efficiently and effectively.”

The combined company currently has 19 employees. Tri-State Equipment plans to add three to five employees within the upcoming six months due to the new building’s increased production capacity.
