Breakfast Club of the Triangle Makes $1000 Donation to the Me Fine Foundation

Cary, NC, November 03, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Breakfast Club of the Triangle (BCA Triangle) has announced that it has donated all of proceeds of its member golf tournament raffle to the MeFine Foundation. Members of BCA Triangle and their guests raised a thousand dollars in the tournament raffle. The $1,000 check was presented to the Me Fine Foundation at the BCA Triangle breakfast at Brier Creek Country Club.

The Me Fine Foundation provides financial assistance to parents, families and caregivers with children being treated at Duke and UNC Children’s Hospitals.

“This generous donation of one thousand dollars from the Breakfast Club of the Triangle will help our organization lessen the financial burden of deserving families by providing payment of household bills, mortgage and rent, offering gas cards, and assuming medical bills in the upcoming months,” said Lisa Valentino, Development Director of the Me Fine Foundation. “I appreciate the members’ support of our efforts.”

“The Breakfast Club of the Triangle and its members could think of nothing better than raising money for children through golf,” said Penn Shore, president of the Breakfast Club of the Triangle. “We hope that our efforts and money will put a smile on the faces of the families and their children.”
