)-- The ALS Group, an independent insurance and risk management advisory firm announced that Michael Lubben has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Prior to joining ALS, Mike was the VP of Risk Management for several large conglomerates including Marvin Windows and Doors, Ryder System Inc. (Ryder Trucks), United Technologies Corporation (UTC) and KONE Elevators and Escalators. Mike’s responsibilities included leading the Enterprise Risk Management initiative as well as creating an effective overall management program for retained risk.
Mike holds a BBA from the University of Iowa and an MBA from St. Ambrose University. He is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and holds an Associate in Claims Designation (AIC). Mike has completed executive education courses at The London Business School and The Darden School of Business and is currently working on obtaining his Doctorate of Business Administration.
