)-- Inkcups Now announces the Cobalt 2000 laser plate maker for pad printing plates. Created with an extremely low budget, the Cobalt 2000 was designed with small print shops in mind. “We want everybody to use this laser plate making technology, not just the large print shops who can afford to spend $25,000 – $50,000,” said Inkcups Now President Ben Adner. The Cobalt 2000 is the most affordable laser engraver on the market by far, selling at under $6,000.
The Cobalt 2000 was developed in-house by Inkcups Now Engineers and features patent pending WFC technology. The pad printing laser plate maker enables the etching of precise, fine line graphics quickly and easily. Exclusively designed for use with Inkcups Now’s AccuLaze plate material, allowing the user a fixed depth plate material and can be etched up to 4 times on a single plate.
