At MMI, Turner will be responsible for building long-term brand awareness campaigns through digital and traditional news media channels as well as across social media platforms. With an expertise rooted in media relations and strategic brand messaging, he will craft engaging messages and communications initiatives for MMI clients.
Before joining MMI, Turner previously served as an assistant editor at Our State magazine, the second-most circulated regional magazine in the United States. In that role, he generated story ideas to create long-form feature articles and edited roughly 40 pages of print content, in addition to writing SEO-optimized copy for the magazine’s website. Prior to that, Turner served as an intern at several broadcast, print and online media outlets. He received his Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in journalism from Wake Forest University and earned the William Louis Poteat Scholarship awarded for leadership and academic excellence.
