2015 marks the 7th annual Shorty Award, honoring stars such as James Franco, Neil Patrick Harris, Lena Dunham, Conan O’Brien, The Tonight Show, Questlove and many more. The Shorty Award honors the best of social media, recognizing the best creators on social media. The 2015 Shorty Awards will be held April 20th at TimesCenter in New York City.
Tom Shea is an artist from Salt Lake City, Utah. He gains much of his inspiration through his love of film and art and a passion for creativity. Shea discovered Vine videos shortly after it was originated and has been making artistic videos ever since. Shea’s videos are not just glimpses into everyday life, but they are well thought out artistic videos. Shea utilizes the natural surroundings that Utah has to offer in his videos, such as being waist deep in water, in a frigid snow storm or surrounded by fireworks.
Winners of the Shorty Awards will be chosen by the Real-Time Academy of Short Form Arts & Sciences (RTA).
