SIIA Announces 2015 CODiEs Finalists in Software, Content, and Education

121 Software, 92 Content, and 157 Education Products Recognized in Only Peer-Reviewed Awards Program.

Washington, DC, April 08, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries, announced the 2015 SIIA CODiE Awards finalists – 121 finalists for the Software categories, 92 finalists for the Content categories, and 157 finalists in the Education categories. These finalists represent applications, products and services which deliver solutions for use by business, government, consumers, academic or other organizations.

The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry's only peer-reviewed awards program. The first round review of software and content nominees includes industry executives and analysts, representatives of media outlets, bloggers, and investors. For the educational products, the first round is reviewed by educators and administrators. The judges are responsible for selecting the CODiE Awards finalists. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners.

This year’s program features 25 Content categories, 29 Software categories and 28 Education categories, several of which are new or updated to reflect the latest industry trends and business models.

· The Software award winners will be announced during a special virtual SIIA Software CODiE Awards Ceremony on May 7.
· Content CODiE Award winners will be announced at a special Content CODiE Awards luncheon at the ABM & Information Industry Summit, scheduled June 15 in Washington, D.C.
· All Education winners will be announced during a special awards dinner at the nation’s leading education technology conference, the Education Industry Summit, in San Francisco on May 5. The announcement will also be live streamed.
