Orlando, FL, April 11, 2015 --(PR.com
)-- DAE (Dial An Exchange) the largest independently owned vacation exchange company, has been selected by Defender Resorts, Inc. to create a branded internal exchange platform for the 60,000 owners they service at their managed resorts. The prominent Myrtle Beach, South Carolina resort management company has specialized in timeshare resort management for over 35 years. They currently provide management services to 24 vacation ownership resorts and 26 associations, with offices located in five US states, Saint Maarten and Grand Cayman Island. This exchange platform will be added to their already robust portfolio of services for their resort clients and their members.
Leveraging the horsepower of its robust exchange infrastructure, DAE will power the Defender exchange service allowing its members to exchange within the Defender Resort network as well as outside of the Defender network to all of the global destinations that DAE has available at any given time.
Commented Fermin Cruz, DAE’s Vice President Americas Region, “Defender Resorts wants to add more benefits to their portfolio of services, keeping their brand name at the forefront while offering more destination choices in a cost effective manner. They also want to create loyalty through an exchange service that would encourage greater use of their vacation product. We will help make this happen by creating an online and telephone support infrastructure all under the Defender brand. Based on our business model and our primary focus on customer service, DAE is able to offer the perfect resolution to Defender’s needs.”
Frank Baker, Executive VP of Defender Resorts, added, “Management companies and HOAs are constantly faced with the challenge of adding value to the timeshare ownership proposition. I believe we have strengthened our services portfolio to our clients by adding an exchange component to the services we already offer. This new partnership will provide our owners with easy access to a simple, reasonably priced exchange service with no membership fee requirement and a world of vacation possibilities, while providing an exclusively branded exchange component with extra owner benefits. It has definitely met the needs of what our owners want.”
Founded in Australia in 1997 on the model of no mandatory membership fees for timeshare owners and no charges on exchanges until an exchange transaction is confirmed, DAE began operations in the United States in 2003 and opened its first North American office in Phoenix in 2007. Unlike other timeshare exchange companies, DAE’s exchange service offers timeshare owners a transaction-based approach that requires no membership fees or payments until an exchange is confirmed. Today, the company is the largest privately owned vacation exchange company, serving a member base of over 1.5 million timeshare owners (including 500,000 direct members) at resorts and clubs through 12 offices worldwide. DAE also offers a myriad of services to developers, HOAs and resort management companies, including their award-winning customer service options. For more information, visit daelive.com.
