Coaching Association Delivers a Special, Unannounced Award to Business Coach Shweta Jhajharia, in Recognition of Services to Coaching

Shweta Jhajharia, London's leading Business Coach received a special award at the Coaching Association awards that was previously unannounced. The judges made the decision to create this award because they simply could not ignore the achievements of Jhajharia.

London, United Kingdom, April 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- When she joined the more than 100 coaches from across the UK who had come to attend the awards night for the Association of Professional Coaches, Trainers and Consultants (APCTC), Shweta Jhajharia was really looking forward to meeting some of the best coaches across the country. She had been shortlisted for two major awards, Business Mentor of the Year and the Outstanding Achievement Award.

As the award winners were announced, Martin Norbury was chosen as Business Mentor of the Year while David Key picked up the award for Outstanding Achievement. However, once all the advertised awards had been announced, a silhouette appeared on the screen with a question mark and the words, "And Finally…" written above.

The air was tense as they announced that there would be one final award. This was an award that had not been announced previously, but had been decided by the APCTC judges’ panel because they simply could not ignore the achievements of one coach. Shweta Jhajharia was announced as the winner of the special award, "In Recognition of Services to Coaching." This is the first time that a coach from ActionCOACH, the world’s largest business coaching firm, has received an award from APCTC and that made the award even more special.

Jhajharia is the Managing Director and the Founder of the London Coaching Group, a franchise of the worldwide coaching organization ActionCOACH. She founded this company following a successful management career with multinational corporation UNILEVER as their Global Marketing Manager.

Today, Shweta is one the world's most accomplished business coaches. She has been awarded the 'London Coach of the Year' award six years in a row, and is one of the first women in the world to be awarded the 'Diamond Level of Excellence', an award that celebrates the best amongst the best, and the fastest coach in ActionCOACH history to reach Emerald status.

In 2013, the British Franchise Association (bfa) awarded her with the Franchisee of the Year Judge's award – another first for any coach across the country, and in 2010 she was named the Enterprise Coach of the Year by SFEDI.

"It is humbling to be recognised by one of the key industry bodies in Coaching," Jhajharia commented. "The award was a spectacular surprise and I am thankful to everyone who has been and continues to be part of my journey of creating better realities for business owners."

The APCTC is the industry standard for professional coaches, trainers and consultants across a range of disciplines. It is an organisation that upholds the personal and professional integrity of coaches and acts as the ethical benchmark for those seeking coaching services.
