)-- The bail bondsmen at 49th Street Bail Bonds in Clearwater, Florida announce their participation in the monthly Ash Wednesday Event in the Tampa, Florida area. The monthly event is a gathering of cigar lovers around the Tampa Bay are. The club meets the first Wednesday of every month at various cigar lounges throughout the area including Treasure Island, Lutz, Seminole, Ybor City and Gulfport, Florida.
The event is free to attend and there is a cash bar at each event. Attendees are encouraged to support the hosting lounge and purchase additional cigars. Each month a different cigar manufacturer is featured and the lounge location also changes.
The Ash Wednesday event started in July of 2011 by cigar aficionado Angye Fox. The goal of the club is to encourage new cigar smokers to mingle, expand their knowledge of cigars and to bring business to Tampa Bay area cigar lounges. The club has grown to over 400 members and includes men and women from all cigar smoking experiences.
49th Street Bail Bonds is one of three participating sponsors to this event. Joe VonWaldner, owner of 49th Street Bail Bonds states, “We are happy to be a participating sponsor in this community event. It helps heighten awareness to local small businesses and also helps get the 49th Street Bail Bonds name out there. The Tampa Bay area has many unique establishments for smokers of cigars and other tobacco products so it’s a good opportunity to do some “grass roots” marketing. Some of the smaller businesses in the area don’t have huge marketing budgets for a traditional television or radio campaign so it’s local events like these that will help with word of mouth marketing.”
The next Ash Wednesday event is scheduled for May 6, 2015 at the Lion’s Den located at 1704 ½ East 7th Avenue, Ybor City, Florida 33605. For more information on the Ash Wednesday event consumers are invited to call 49th Street Bail Bonds at 727-592-0000.
