)-- Northen California-based AdCommute (AdCommute.com) today announced a new nationwide advertising service targeting morning and afternoon commuters.
The service AdCommute works by capitalizing on the growing advertising trend in local markets of placing magnetic ads on vehicles. For a small fraction of what it costs to advertise online, in print, on radio or TV, AdCommute manages the process with vehicle fleets in every major city in the US. The magnetic ads managed by AdCommute reach thousands of people during the morning and afternoon commute every single day of the week.
Jared Callahan, AdCommute's president, states, "we realized that companies seeking to create or strengthen brands through their marketing message were limited in how they could advertise that message. Anyone can place an ad in the phone book, newspaper or Internet, but for the ad to be successful, people have to go there first. Even billboard advertising is stationary. Based on statistics from the Department of Transportation, the initial focus is on the top 10 busiest commutes in the nation. Those commutes include Chicago, Washington, D.C., San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose and Los Angeles.
Magnets which are placed on the AdCommute fleet are manufactured to exact specification and placed on vehicles in a pair of 12 X 18 inch door magnets. Terms are month-to-month and special programs are available such as Ad Blitz (multiple ads and/or multiple cities).
