"Build A Buzz" with Universal Artist J Ross Parrelli

Auburn, CA, June 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- International touring artist and entrepreneur J. Ross Parrelli is presenting "Build a Buzz," a panel discussion on brand building, social marketing techniques and local promotion at the historic Auburn State Theatre on July 8, from 6-8 p.m. The panel, which will feature some of the leading edge voices in the use of these vital business building skills, will kick off a monthly series. "Build a Buzz" is the first of a three-part series that Ms. Parrelli has put together over the summer in an effort promote business building in her hometown of Auburn.

Panelists include Roni Deutch, owner of the largest tax law firm in the country and a woman who made a name for herself by taking on the IRS; Tina Reynolds, owner of Uptown Studios, a visual communications firm, specializing in graphic design, web development, video production and social media management and marketing; Placer County Supervisor Jennifer Montgomery, who without any prior political experience won a seat on the Board in 2008, defeating a seating incumbent, and then won reelection in a landslide over three opponents in 2012; Cynthia Tweed, Nevada City independent radio station KBMR's development director; and Paul Cambra, features editor for Gold Country Media's flagship publication, the Auburn Journal.

Parrelli, who's 2014 single "Like Water" reached No 25 on the R&B/Hip Hop Charts, will moderate the event. The Auburn native who also splits time in New York City, Los Angeles and Portland, Ore., co-founded the non-profit BEATS LYRICS LEADERS and co-created a Hip Hop Curriculum that is now being piloted with youth everywhere; in schools, after school music programs, foster youth gatherings and on Native American reservations, providing students with tools to create their own music and a marketing kit to go with it.

Panelists will provide insight on social marketing secrets and trades, the importance of promoting on local radio, in publications, online, branding (building a name people trust), and how to maximize your marketing budgets and ideas. Audience members will be encouraged to interact and ask questions specific to their marketing needs, ideas, and interests. The event is sponsored by The Barter Club, Placer Arts 360, and Auburn Hip Hop Congress.

Every business requires a marketing plan and ideas on how to “Build a Buzz,” turn fans in to consumers, network, and keep thriving in an ever changing business world. “There was a direct need to bring this type of education to the local businesses, students, entrepreneurs and professionals of Auburn and surrounding communities. We, Auburnites, are looking for ways to be on the cutting edge of trends and marketing… It has been an opportunity to live in New York and see the influence of such networking," Ms Parrelli stated.
