Corporate Risk Solutions, Inc. Announces Promotion of Harford Field, III to Manager - Consulting Services

Corporate Risk Solutions, Inc. (CRSI), a wholly-owned subsidiary and premier security consulting firm of Corporate Enterprise Security, Inc., has announced the promotion of Harford Field, III, CPP, PSP, CHS-IV to Manager - Consulting Services to lead its team of NERC compliance and security consulting experts.

Lenexa, KS, July 19, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Mr. Field joined CRSI in January, 2014 as Supervisor - Consulting Services. With more than 15 years of security related experience, includes military intelligence and consultative offerings of security solutions to critical infrastructure entities, which also encompass nuclear and conventional power-generating and transmission facilities. Since March 2014, Harford’s focus has been on developing solutions to effectively meet NERC CIP-014 physical security enhancement requirements for several electric utilities, as mandated by FERC Order 802.

Harford has worked closely with utilities, regional authorities, and NERC to understand and implement cost-effective protective solutions that comply with CIP-014 requirements, including improved situational awareness and mitigation of expected attack profiles based upon Design Basis Threats (DBT) of each facility in scope.

“The expansion of our consulting management team further strengthens CRSI’s strategic focus on serving our energy clients as they prepare to meet the evolving security threats and compliance challenges faced across North America,” says Michael Tibbs, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “Harford Field’s comprehensive experience managing physical and cyber security projects is a tremendous asset to CRSI and a valuable resource for our clients.”

Formerly with the US Air Force, and a long-time member of ASIS International, Harford is Board Certified in Security Management. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Public Administration from the University of Texas and presently is completing his Master’s Degree in International Security/Terrorism Issues at the University of North Georgia.

“The sharp rise of lone wolf attacks in the US requires critical infrastructure entities, especially within the electrical grid, to increase physical protection and enhance situational awareness to mitigate these attacks, as well as coordinated attacks that could disable the grid. I am dedicated to that effort with CRSI,” said Mr. Field.

Since joining CRSI, Harford has been a positive force for our clients and continually works to further broaden his expertise in the application of physical security systems. As a result, Harford has proven to be a valued member of our organization and is highly respected by our clients.
