One-Stop Shop for "In the Cloud" Services Launched in Southern California

Launching of a new Virtual Assistant firm, for startups, sole proprietors, entrepreneurs and more.

Palm Springs, CA, July 19, 2015 --(PR.com)-- What do you get when you mix a clean-freak, quick-witted business man with years of human resource experience and a cabaret-singing, research-geek Jill-of-all-trades?

You get theVirtual Source Team (theVST), a newly formed partnership between entrepreneurs Bill Masters of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA and Francesca (FRAN-chess-ka) Amari Sajtar (SIGH-tar) of Palm Springs, CA.

theVirtual Source Team is a Virtual Assistance firm offering a variety of administrative, marketing and human resources services remotely to small businesses, solopreneurs and startup firms who don’t have their own staff, but have ongoing tasks, duties and projects that are necessary to keep their businesses running and successful.

The Virtual Assistant field is a fairly new industry that has grown partly from corporate downsizing and partly from the convenience of the Internet. The Internet created a medium where people can communicate, transfer files electronically, research, and work remotely from home. In essence, it created a "web" connecting people in remote locations and allowed Bill and Francesca to monitor each other’s Facebook time.

Conversely, corporate downsizing has created opportunity for virtual assistants who could take over small, random projects that pop up for businesses that no longer have staff and need to subcontract out the work. When you combine the market need for projects and the Internet as the connection to remote people, you have a new business model: the Virtual Assistant.

“I’ve been doing work virtually for a number of years to supplement my singing career,” says Amari Sajtar, also a professional singer. “I’ve been working for friends in a couple of different industries, producing podcasts, doing market research and social media in the book publishing field, without really realizing I was part of an actual industry.”

She continues, “A friend (and client) suggested I formalize my business model, and so I linked up with a great businessperson friend, Bill Masters, to partner with. We created theVST as a result.”

theVST will offer everything from administrative assistant services (appointment setting, calendar keeping, data entry) to market research, proofreading, editing, social media and digital content to human resource services (posting jobs, screening candidates, employee handbooks) to producing special events, audiobooks and more.

“The diversity in our backgrounds allows us to offer a full spectrum of virtual services to meet almost any business need,” says Masters. “I’m very excited to offer such a huge spectrum of services and see what our daily, chaotic life might embrace.”

Masters has been performing in an administrative and Human Resources capacity for more than 20 years. He started off stuffing floppy disks into envelopes for MicroSim Corporation and prospered forward from there. He got his start in Human Resources at Triconex Corporation (now Schneider Electric) as an Administrative Assistant, which grew into a Benefits Administrator position. His human resources managerial expertise was honed at Pioneer Electronics, New York Food Company and Kurtzman Carson Consultants. He then served as a Human Resources Field Advisor to Longs Drug, covering 55 stores in the Southern California Region.

When CVS purchased Long Drugs, Masters was laid off, moved to the Palm Springs area and started Pigpen House Cleaning with the last of his money. He grew the business from nothing to about $100K in sales in less than 5 years. Pigpen was the leader in home services in the Coachella Valley, outshining all competition in Yelp reviews. He met Francesca when cleaning her messy house and they decided to partner and form theVirtual Source Team.

Amari Sajtar has been a professional singer most of her life, and has supplemented that with jobs primarily in the nonprofit world, doing public relations, media relations, marketing, writing and editing. The last eight years has been spent directing and working in the audiobook industry, which allows theVST to offer some unique, specialized services to its clients.

“We are just thrilled to launch this new, exciting service and form lasting relationships with our prospective clients,” says Masters. “The foundation of any successful business is the relationships it forms and nurtures, and that is the cornerstone of our business. If you’re happy, we’re happy; if you’re successful, we’re successful.”

And they’ll be cleaning and singing their way through all of their projects, to boot.
