G-Cube Wins National Award for Best-in-Class Training and Development 2015

G-Cube won National Award for Best-in-Class Training and Development 2015 under two categories - Best use of Mobile Learning Technology and Best Use of Game-based Learning Technology.

Noida, India, August 08, 2015 --(PR.com)-- It is award time again for G-Cube, and this time it is the National Award for Best-in-Class Training and Development 2015 – a leading industry award in the area of e-learning in India. The annual award recognizes inspiring and innovative solutions in the field of education and training in India.

G-Cube won under two categories – Best use of Mobile Learning Technology and Best Use of Game-based Learning Technology.

For mobile learning, G-Cube showcased a mobile-enabled solution created for Royal Philips – a technology company, creating meaningful and modern solutions in the area of Healthcare, Consumer Lifestyle and Lighting. G-Cube developed a mobile application that makes a variety of learning cue-cards available on the learners’ device – be it the iPad, while making sales calls; the laptop, while travelling; or the desktop, when in office. The app presents the cue cards in a unique catalogue display that makes sure that the learner is able to access the required content quickly and efficiently.

In the category of game-based learning, G-Cube showcased a game-based business simulation developed for Hindustan Unilever (HUL), the leading FMCG company in India, for training its sales officers. This business simulation is the first of its kind experience for the sales team at HUL. It created a virtual environment for the sales team, where the team members could hone their skills, compete with each other, learn from their mistakes, and strive to do better the next time! The virtual environment presented them the same situations and challenges that they face in real life. So, though the technology-aided platform was new to them, the familiarity of the setting and the scenario created in their minds the necessary connection with the medium, as well as improved the overall impact of the learning.

Manish Gupta, CEO, G-Cube (www.gc-solutions.net), said “G-Cube thrives on the variety of work that we do for our clients and the innovations that we create by utilizing the latest technology. Our strength lies in the diversity of our clients, and our expertise is in aligning learning solutions as per their needs. Mobile learning as well as game-based learning are newer ways of learning that are being incorporated for workplace training. We are actively involved in tapping the immense potential of both and hope to create solutions that help our clients derive the most from them.”
