Practical Horseman Presents: Win a Trip for Two to the Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping Las Vegas

Gaithersburg, MD, September 17, 2015 --( The Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping North American League is heading to Las Vegas this November. One of the new league’s qualifying events will be held in Las Vegas and you can win a trip for two to be part of it in person, thanks to Longines and Practical Horseman Magazine.

The Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping Las Vegas is hosted by the Las Vegas National CSI3*-W, and organized by Blenheim EquiSports, at the South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa (minutes from the famous Las Vegas strip). In addition to the $100,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Las Vegas competition on November 14, the competition features two additional $35,000 Longines Rankings Competition as well as many national competitions to enjoy the West Coast Equestrian Junior/Amateur Medal Finals.

One lucky winner will be randomly selected by Practical Horseman to win a trip for two to Las Vegas from November 12-15 as part of a package that includes round-trip airfare; three nights at South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa; and a VIP table at the Las Vegas National.

“The North American League highlights the best jumper riders in North America,” says Practical Horseman Editor Sandra Oliynyk. “We’re excited to give someone the chance to see one of these great qualifying events in person amid the glitz, glamor and fun of Las Vegas. In addition, the winner will get to watch all of the other great classes at the Las Vegas National. It’s a horseperson’s dream getaway.”

The contest can be entered at through October 9. It is open to those ages 18 and older as of September 1 and only one entry is allowed per person.

The new North American league was launched by Beezie Madden, the most decorated US female equestrian athlete of all time, American Gold Cup winner and FEI Solidarity Ambassador Jessica Springsteen, and Hannah Selleck, team and individual gold medalist at young rider level and one of the sport’s up-and-coming stars. The North American League boasts a minimum of US $2.4 million prize money across the series, and offers the best Jumping athletes from North America and around the world the chance to qualify for the jackpot of more than US $1.4 million (€1.3 million) on offer annually at the Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Final.
