Tickets Now on Sale for the Annual Southwest Florida Manufacturer and Affiliate of the Year Award Banquet

SRMA celebrates the industry’s contributions to Southwest Florida’s economy.

Fort Myers, FL, September 24, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Southwest Regional Manufacturers Association (SRMA) invites its members and the general public to attend its Annual Southwest Florida Manufacturer and Affiliate of the Year Award Banquet from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Eastern Architectural Systems, 16341 Domestic Ave. in Fort Myers. Tickets are $35 for members, $45 non-members, and are available by emailing Max Dean at max@srma.net.

Now in its third year, the Manufacturer of the Year Award recognizes a company that elevates the status of the industry as a driver of growth in the economy of Southwest Florida, positions manufacturing as an attractive sector for the region’s future workforce, and demonstrates best practices to serve as a model of efficiency to the SRMA’s membership.

New this year will be the Affiliate of the Year Award, recognizing a non-manufacturer business member of the SRMA who has made great contributions to the organization and the status of manufacturers in the region.

Manufacturing is growing in Southwest Florida, and SRMA is building a strong foundation in which to support its membership by providing education, resources, marketing, promotions, networking, grants, scholarships, internships, training, and an annual Made in Southwest Florida Faire. SRMA provides valuable contacts for networking and promotes an environment for industry growth. SRMA can help your business with expert advice through seminars and forums on topics such as Best Practices and Lean Manufacturing. SRMA also offers assistance with training employees, educating future employees and influencing legislation and regulation.

SRMA also has plans to will host its first-ever charity golf event on October 30at Coral Oaks Golf Course in Cape Coral. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Community Cooperative.
