SATO HOLDINGS Appoints Shigeki Egami to CHRO Position

Tokyo, Japan, November 07, 2015 --(PR.com)-- SATO (TOKYO:6287), a leading global provider of Auto-ID solutions that empower workforces and streamline operations, announced the appointment of Shigeki Egami today as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The CHRO position replaces the previous CHO position.

The CHRO will further revamp the human resources system at SATO by promoting modern working styles and designing and implementing new training programs to support the expansion of SATO’s global business.

Mr. Egami brings his extensive talent management experience at a multinational organization. Prior to joining SATO, Mr. Egami was head of HR at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, overseeing an expansive workforce across Japan and group companies abroad. In that role he was also tasked with managing human resources for Daimler Trucks Asia, implementing innovative HR policies and schemes with a diverse team to transform the domestic Japanese mindset to a more global one. He also integrated processes and policies throughout Daimler Trucks Asia to ensure transparent HR management governance at a global level.
