DCSI Asks "Is Your Business Ready for the Fair Labor Standards Act Changes?"

How is your HR department preparing for the FLSA changes? Are you reviewing job descriptions to see if employees are exempt via pay scale or duties tests? Dynamic Corporate Solutions, Inc. (DCSI) offers an FLSA Guide Package to help you navigate the changes for your organization.

Jacksonville, FL, November 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Human Resources and Payroll Departments need to be preparing now for the proposed Fair Labor Standards act (FLSA) changes. According to the Department Of Labor (www.dol.gov), the minimum salary threshold will more than double to $970 a week, or $50,400 a year, for exempt employees. So will you give every exempt employee a raise or revert to hourly wages?

Dynamic Corporate Solutions, Inc. (DCSI) is answering these questions and more regarding the FLSA proposed changes. DCSI has been a leader in awareness for the proposed FLSA changes by offering free workshops to area organizations. CEO, Suzanne K. Lemen wants businesses of all sizes to understand “These FLSA changes will affect everyone. It may be based on the salary level or the duties test, but every business and non-profit needs to be aware and plan for budget changes in 2016.”

Take a look at your 2016 budget and consider if you need to adjust your business model to pay for additional compensation costs that the Department of Labor will require. To help you determine overtime and wages, DCSI has developed an FLSA Guide that includes a guidebook to the changes, a spreadsheet for determining exemption status, and a one hour consult with a Compensation Professional.

The FLSA Guide Package will be available for purchase on November 16. It will include an update once the regulations are announced. For more information, or to request DCSI bring the FLSA Review Package to your company, contact Heidi Barfield at hbarfield@dynamiccorp.com
