RadiusPoint will provide invoice processing and expense management services for telecom and utility services and invoices. The services include the complete management of their invoices; from receipt to invoice verification to archival of the invoice image for future needs. The allocation of the expenses down to a specific type and location was a benefit that will save this organization staff time and money. Additionally, RadiusPoint provides inventory and optimization management for all services.

Past due invoices, services disruption and contract mayhem were just a few of the issues that drove this expanding organization to partner with RadiusPoint. The company’s current staff could not keep up with the growth of the organization and needed assistance in managing the telecom and utility vendors. Identifying what services, i.e. telephone, DSL, utility meters, were billed to each location was the first request made by the staff. RadiusPoint tackled this project with an Inventory and Audit that uses RadiusPoint’s proprietary software, ExpenseLogic to track all services down to the line item on a monthly basis. During this project phase, all contracts were identified and set up for monthly auditing during the Invoice Processing services.

RadiusPoint began in January 1992 with a focus on telecom and utility audit and inventory services. In early 1996, RadiusPoint’s CEO, Sharon Watkins, was approached by a large oil and gas company for the monthly Expense Management services for their 10,000 locations. “No software existed to manage this in an automated manner,” states Watkins, “so we began the development of what is now our ExpenseLogic software.” The ExpenseLogic software finished development in June of 1998 and was used for the first Expense Management Client in October of 1998.

RadiusPoint’s Telecom Expense Management (TEM), Utility Expense Management (UEM), and Loss Prevention Expense Management (LPEM) services and Mobile Device Management (MDM) involves the monthly management of the invoices and constant review of the charges from the vendors. The invoices are established in the ExpenseLogic software so that the charges for each location would be allocated appropriately and expediently. RadiusPoint has invoices processed for payment and allocated within a few days of the receipt of the invoice from the vendor. The timeliness of these services enables the client staff to review important issues or services immediately at their desktop instead of going through stacks of invoices.

RadiusPoint is able to audit the invoices on a monthly basis with ExpenseLogic, RadiusPoint’s proprietary software which allows for detailed line item auditing. This monthly audit encompasses services for telecom; including landlines, data circuits, wireless services, and utilities; energy, gas, and trash. Errors are identified and reconciled with the vendor, which creates a credit or refund situation and avoids any future costs for those same charges. These charges are detailed and reported to the client when the credit on the invoices appears or the refund check is received. These activities impact the client’s bottom line and ensure a positive ROI.
