Fred Kumetz and eData Services Re-Elected to the HIMAP Board of Trustees

Beverly Hiils, CA, December 04, 2015 --(PR.com)-- eData Services honored with the re-election of its CEO to the Healthcare Information Management Outsourcing Association of the Philippines (HIMAP) Board of Trustees.

Mr. Kumetz has been instrumental in the success of HIMAP since its inception in 2001 by initially breaking down limitations and barriers to entry faced by medical transcription companies in the Philippines. He further promoted the transcription industry in the Philippines, when in 2003, Mr. Kumetz joined with eight (8) other medical transcription companies to form the Medical Transcription Industry Association of the Philippines (MTIAPI), the predecessor of HIMAP. Being one of the nine (9) incorporators of MTIAPI, Mr. Kumetz opened eData’s resources to MTIAPI, providing manpower, IT and technical support, and financial assistance.

In addition Mr. Kumetz has be highly active in promoting the Philippine’s HIM industry in the USA through many conference keynote speeches and press releases.

Speaking about the nomination Mr. Kumetz stated, “I look forward to serving on the Board and to serve all of the members of HIMAP over the next year. Together, I am confident we will be able to move forward and successfully promote the Philippines as a truly great resource for our international customers.”
