)-- Gatecoin’s CEO and founder Aurélien Menant adds one more award to the company’s roster. On Friday, December 5, 2015, Menant won the “Outstanding Young International Entrepreneurs” award from the Hong Kong International Entrepreneurs Festival (HKIEF).
AngelCrunch, a Beijing-based marketplace for investors and start-ups, brought 20 members from its so-called “10 million investment club” to the fair, said Eric Yeung, executive president of the festival’s organising committee. As an HKIEF award winner, Menant will get personal coaching from famous investors and a chance to gain investment intent valuing HK$10 million (US$1.3 million) for his bitcoin exchange company, Gatecoin.
