Russell Bedford Mexico City Appoints Fernando Holguín as a Partner

London, United Kingdom, February 11, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Russell Bedford México has confirmed the appointment of Fernando Holguín Maillard as the partner responsible for technical operations, training and quality control. He will also handle selected clients and government agencies.

Fernando has more than 40 years of experience in the public accounting profession, most recently specialising in the area of due diligence and electronic data risk management. He has been a partner in three of the big international firms, where he was involved in technical committees and in charge of major international clients.

He has been an active participant on the governing committees of the Institute and College of Public Accountants in Mexico, and on the Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards Committee. He has represented Mexico on the IFAC International Auditing Standards Committee.

Fernando co-authored the book 'Practicas Modernas de Auditoría' (Modern Auditing Practices) and has written articles on computerised audit. He has also taught at several prestigious academic institutions.
