The ever complex and changing US export control laws require Canadian companies and individuals to keep compliance obligations a topmost priority to reduce the potential risks of liabilities that can arise for export control violations. As US export control enforcement focuses more heavily on individuals, and with export reform placing greater burdens on compliance by persons and entities who receive controlled goods, the potential for Canadian companies and individuals to run afoul of US requirements has increased markedly.
In this two-hour Live Webcast, a panel of distinguished professionals and thought leaders assembled by The Knowledge Group will provide the audience with an in-depth discussion of how U.S. Export Controls & Compliance are changing for those outside the US, and will help you understand the important aspects of this significant topic. Speakers will address Export Control Reform (ECR) implementation and challenges, key aspects affecting Canadian companies, and the compliance and enforcement challenges arising from the shifting export control regulations and landscape, and discuss how to keep your compliance up to date in this changing world.
Key topics include:
§ Export Control Reform (ECR)
