Former Booz Allen Executive Bill Thoet Joins GovBizConnect as Advisor

Bill retired as an Executive Vice President from Booz Allen Hamilton, where he worked for 26 years. At Booz Allen, Bill led business units with as many as 2,000 staff, $400M in annual revenue and in a range of areas including: Neural Networks, Advanced Computational Technologies, Modeling, Simulation and Wargaming, Rapid Prototyping and Alternative Revenue Streams. Bill received both his Bachelor of Engineering degree and his MS degree in Computer Science from the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.

He is the past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National ALS Association. Bill is also the co-owner of the Georgetown Piano Bar in Washington, D.C. Bill also serves as a mentor to the Washington, D.C.-based start-up incubator, 1776, an advisor to the Aspen Brain Institute and to the charity start-up, Soceana, and supports Booz Allen as a Senior Executive Advisor.
