Equine Engagement Workshop Kicks-Off ASPCA Help a Horse Day at Peaceful Acres Horses | April 23, 2016

Understand Horses & Discover The Perfect (Rescued) Equine Partner to Adopt or Sponsor.

Albany, NY, April 09, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Susan Kayne is pleased to announce the debut of her newly created Equine Engagement Workshop at Peaceful Acres Horses in Pattersonville, NY on Saturday, April 23, 2016, from 11AM to 3PM. The workshop will introduce participants to the enrichment horses brings to the human experience. Kayne, developed the curriculum specifically to help increase long-term adoption and sponsorship of rescued equine. This will be the first in a series of special ‘Horsing Around’ events at Peaceful Acres from April 23rd to the 26th in conjunction with ASPCA Help A Horse Day.

Nanci Beyerl, founder of Peaceful Acres Horses, set-up four full days of fun, educational, and horse hugging activities to raise awareness on equine welfare issues and the need to protect at-risk horses, “for us especially, it is about the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of these horses.”

“Peaceful Acres offers hands-on access to horses, donkeys, mules, and minis,” Kayne says. “In this unhurried and natural environment, people and horses get up-close, they let their guard down, relax and discover more dimensions of each other, this leads to developing a relationship, forming a bond, and hopefully adoption.”

The Workshop addresses the commitments horses require, “Time, money, and stabling oversights are most often the factors in failed adoptions, or short-lived participation, they needn’t be,” Kayne said. “There are so many ways to enjoy horses, and with realistic guidance anyone can budget for a lasting relationship that is deep and meaningful.”

The workshop is limited to 12 participants; the fee is $75. Register online at http://www.PeacefulAcresHorses.com | Video Link: https://youtu.be/9V1L4JKrs_0
