)-- Verity Consulting Limited (Verity) has been recognized as “Manpower Developer” by the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) in the “ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme” (the Scheme) for its commitment in staff training and unleashing their potential.
"We always believe that our employees are our greatest assets so we have put a lot of resources in staff training. We are very glad that our efforts have been recognised," said Mr. Kelvin Ko, the Managing Director of Verity Consulting Limited.
The Scheme was launched in December 2009. It evaluates the overall performance in manpower training and development policies and strategies of participating organisations in terms of five parameters: Leading a Learning Culture; Resources Planning; Training and Development System; Performance Management; and Corporate Social Responsibility in Manpower Development.
According to Ko, in the past year, Verity organized trainings covering a wide range of topics from industry knowledge like computer forensics, fraud, privacy, risk management to marketing and language skills. They also development an internship programme to train undergraduates for prepare them for their career. "We will keep up the good work and continue to provide the best training to our staff," Ko continued.

About the Employees Retraining Board
The ERB is an independent statutory body established in 1992 under the Employees Retraining Ordinance. The ERB co-ordinates, funds and monitors training courses and services that are market driven and employment-oriented so as to meet the changing needs of the employment market. The ERB has appointed about 100 training bodies with around 400 training centres across the territory to provide training courses and services.
