BSR Services Owner Receives National Philanthropic Award

St. Louis snow and ice management provider earns industry recognition.

St. Louis, MO, July 03, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Carl Bolm, owner of BSR Services, recently won the “Philanthropic Leadership” award presented by the Snow and Ice Management Association (SIMA). He was recognized at SIMA’s national 19th annual Snow & Ice Symposium held in Providence, RI.

BSR Services, which was founded by Bolm in 1984, is St. Louis’ largest locally owned and operated snow and ice management provider. SIMA’s “Philanthropic Leadership” award recognizes a member of the snow and ice community who has demonstrated humanitarianism toward those in need.

Bolm is on the Board of Directors for Old Newsboys Day, as well as a member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization. He has participated in building homes for the less fortunate in underprivileged countries through Youth With A Mission.

His winery, Cedar Lake Cellars, has held numerous fundraisers for a variety of organizations including TREE House of Greater St. Louis and Young Leader Board-USO. Bolm’s mud run obstacle course, The Battlegrounds, gives race proceeds to Operation Food Search.
