)-- Nash Distribution announced today that Owen Barry and Scott Ford have joined the company to build Nash’s new business development team, and they will work together to solidify the relationships Nash has with current customers as well as acquire new accounts throughout the US and Canada. Owen and Scott both bring a wealth of experience within the industry and can use their expertise to help contractors and other home improvement companies to expand their product offerings and grow their business.
Owen comes to Nash with an MBA from Rutgers University and more than 25 years of experience in business development, direct sales and account management. These products and services have varied from high-tech market research (clients like IBM, HP, and Intel), to recruiting and placing IT professionals, to fulfilling peoples' dreams through Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The keys to his success include providing absolutely superior service, developing ongoing, mutually-beneficial relationships, and being adaptable to change. In addition to the "revenue generation" side of Owen’s career, he has handled many organizational functions including financial analysis, customer service, and product fulfillment. Owen will play an essential role in providing and implementing high-quality solutions for Nash customers both new and current.

Scott Ford comes to Nash with more than 20 years of sales and account management experience. Having worked as the Director of Operations for Turkey Run Inc., a local real estate holding company, Scott’s expertise truly comes from his ability to build relationships with his customers and to motivate others to achieve goals. He is extremely detail-oriented and an excellent communicator. More importantly, Scott served as a Project Manager for Nash’s sister company, The Basement Doctor. This means he knows exactly what it takes to engage a homeowner, educate them, build a trusting relationship, perform an incredible inspection, build the proper plan for remedy, and see the project through to completion. This will be incredibly beneficial as Scott gets to know Nash customers and creates a plan to aid in businesses growth.
