Brian Metz Joins Sterling Research Group, Inc.
St. Petersburg, FL, January 20, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Brian Metz has joined Sterling Research Group, Inc. as the Director of Information Technology. Metz will lead the software development department and the IT infrastructure team at Sterling. Prior to coming to Sterling, Metz worked as an Assistant Vice President and Application Development Manager at Raymond James & Associates.
Metz has over twenty-five years experience in a variety of technical and leadership roles and has extensive experience in a variety of areas including software and systems design and development, computer and network design, implementation and support, business development, training, quality control and customer service. Brian also served five years as an officer in the United States Navy and has held various positions throughout his career ranging from software/systems engineer to IT Consultant.
Jamie Faulkner, Sterling’s Chief Operating Officer, remarks, “Brian’s rich experience in information technology development and management coupled with his ability to creatively address business needs makes him a great addition to the Sterling team.”
Metz has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Tampa.
