Florida Golfers Invited for Fundraising Golf Tournament Sponsored by ABD Development at Providence Golf Club

The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Booby Brigade, organized by Providence Golf and Country Club Community near Orlando, is on target to raise a record amount of funds for 2016. The Pink Classic Golf Tournament at Providence Golf Club, sponsored by ABD Development, will be held on October 8th and is open to all Florida golfers. ABD Development builds not just luxury homes in gated neighborhoods, but cohesive communities as well.

Orlando, FL, October 05, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Providence Golf and Country Club Community, southwest of Orlando in Davenport, is busy with its resident-driven fundraising efforts on behalf of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer again this year. As always, the many events for which the organizers and volunteers work tirelessly are a reminder of how important and rewarding it is to give back. ABD Development Company is the proud Title Sponsor of the upcoming Pink Classic Golf Tournament being held at Providence Golf Club on October 8th, 2016.

“In 2012, we lost a beloved founding member of our Providence community book club and sadly learned that everyone in the club had been affected by breast cancer in some way,” explains Margaret Hines, Providence Residents Clubhouse Manager and organizer of the Providence Making Strides events. “We were a group of survivors, supporters, and mourners. And we were determined to help make a change. That year, the Providence Booby Brigade was born and took its first steps in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.”

In both 2014 and 2015, the Providence Making Strides team was recognized as the top fundraising non-corporate group for the Orlando region. It is notable that Orlando was the top fundraising area for the entire country last year, according to Making Strides final numbers. An integral part of the fundraising, the Providence Pink Classic Golf Tournament is in its 4th year and is open to the public. Teams of four will compete for the coveted Pink Classic trophy. Many golfers and supporters will be out for a great day of fun and food at the best golf course in Central Florida.

“ABD Development is honored to be the Title Sponsor and we will be out on the golf course competing as well,” says Yuval Botansky, President of the Central Florida-based builder. “The Orlando real estate market is gaining momentum so we are very busy with new builds and custom homes in Providence and Windsor Landing at Wyndham Lakes. Our ABD team golfers look forward to a day off for a great cause, and we hope to get the trophy too.” ABD Development began building Providence in 2005; the company currently offers an array of designer spec homes available with builder leasebacks for investors. Prices range from $280-$700k and the low home ownership fees compel buyers along with the naturally beautiful setting so close to metropolitan Orlando.

There are still spots left for players so please contact the Providence Golf Club to sign up as soon as possible. $75 a player includes golf, cart, lunch, dinner, two hours of unlimited draft beer after the tournament, and four drink tickets during the tournament. There are other prizes and activities, including delightful entertainment by Buddy Shelton, also known as “Golf’s Greatest Entertainer.” There will be a Super Ball package available for an additional $25 per person that includes two closest-to-the-pin contests, longest drive contest, putting contest, Pink Booby ball, and the most popular prize: a chance to win a car from Jarrett Gordon with a hole-in-one.
