World Trade Association of Utah Selects New President

Salt Lake City, UT, October 07, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The World Trade Association of Utah has chosen David Utrilla as its new president. Utrilla replaces Barbara Bagnasacco, the outgoing president, to lead the organization forward into 2017.

David Utrilla is the founder, president and CEO of U.S. Translation Company and is active in a number of Utah trade and community organizations. He has received numerous awards, including SBA Small Business Person of the Year, several times recognized at Inc. 500/5000 as one of the fastest growing companies in America, and more.

The World Trade Association of Utah is Utah’s oldest international trade organization, with 45 years serving Utah’s economy and its business community. Since 1971, the World Trade Association of Utah has actively brought Utah industry together with international opportunity.

At the upcoming Utah Global Forum, October 24, 2016, the World Trade Association of Utah will recognize three entities for their contributions to Utah’s thriving business landscape. The organization will honor US Senator Orrin Hatch as the International Person of the Year and DoTerra as the International Company of the year. Finally, Franz Kolb, Director of Diplomacy and Protocol for the State of Utah, will be presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award. These awards are presented and sponsored by Key Bank.
