IPA Charities Supports Community Choir and Local Church

Buffalo Grove, IL, January 30, 2008 --(PR.com)-- IPA Charities contributed $2,000 to a local community choir’s holiday concert, and $1,000 to St. Mary Parish for the use of video equipment and related services needed to record the parish’s holiday concert.

International Profit Associates (IPA-IBA) Chief Information Officer (CIO), David Kukral, is a member of both the community choir and St. Mary’s Parish. The choir’s performance took place December 21, 2007, and St. Mary Parish’s Christmas concert was held December 16, 2007.

The community choir, known as The M&Ms, was founded in 2001 by its director, Carolyn E. Hollins. The choir’s goal is to sing together in peace, love and harmony to the glory and honor of God. Members of the multi-cultural and multi-denominational community choir are residents of Chicago’s northwest suburbs.

St. Mary Parish is a Catholic church and school located in Buffalo Grove, Ill. The church’s original facility was built in 1853 by German Catholic settlers. However, that facility was destroyed by a fire and therefore, a second church was built 1899. The second church was later demolished to make room for the current structure built in 1978. St. Mary Parish’s church offers a 1,000-seat worship space and contains a unique, see-through altar. According to the parish’s Web site, St. Mary’s offers many opportunities for individuals and families to have a personal, faith-filled experience.

Kukral, CPA, began his career at IPA as a Senior Business Consultant in 1993 and later accepted a position as the Controller. He has most recently served as CIO for 10 years. Prior to joining IPA, he was with Browning Ferris Industries as the Assistant Regional Controller/IT Manager and was concurrently a Tax and IT Manager for a Cleveland-area CPA firm. He has earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in accounting from John Carroll University. His experience and expertise in business and information technology enables him to produce functional solutions to the ever changing needs of the organization. Kukral is also active in his church and community as he currently acts as Corresponding Secretary for the Holy Name Society at St. Mary Parish. Additionally, he is a member of the St. Mary Music Ministry and the Knights of Columbus.
