Rapid Machining Waterjet Service

Precision waterjet cutting services launched January 2017.

Nashua, NH, February 17, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Rapid Machining, one of the largest prototype machining manufacturers in the United States, is excited to announce a new service, precision waterjet cutting. Responding to customer demand, Rapid Machining purchased new equipment and reconfigured the manufacturing floor to make this new service possible.

Dave Rugg, Rapid Machining Quality Manager, stated, “The ability to provide a quality part to our customers in rapid time is essential to our business model. Adding the waterjet services will help us keep this promise while providing customers new options that are not available with CNC machined parts or turned parts. I am looking forward to the implementation of this new services and the feedback from our customers.”

Rapid Machining was founded in 2009 to satisfy a demand for prototype machined parts. Since 2009 Rapid Machining has outgrown two facilities and moved to its current 50,000 square foot facility on Charron Ave in Nashua, NH. In 2014, Rapid Machining opened a separate 33,000 low-volume production facility across the street. All prototype parts are quoted in less than 24 business hours and typically delivered in less than 7 business days.

Mark Dirsa, General Manager Rapid Machining Proto, stated, “Over the past year customers have been requesting prototype machined parts of a variety of sizes. Because RAPID’s core values and mission focus on customer service, the team began looking for alternative manufacturing processes to implement. Waterjet services complement our current offering of CNC machined and turned parts and we are excited to provide customers a new alternative to manufacture their parts.”
