New Book by Industry Expert Adds Resource for Electronics Company Executives and Engineers

Dog Ear Publishing has released a new book on metrics for winning customers in the high-volume electronics business, created by an expert with more than 25 years of experience in the field.

El Paso, TX, February 22, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Technology’s rapid evolution has an impact on a range of industries, including electronics. An industry insider relays his insights into businesses and processes prevalent in the electronics industry in a new book released by Dog Ear Publishing. Competition is rising, with thousands of global companies competing for leadership, author Vino Mody writes, and executives and management must actively support the metrics involved.

“Metrics for Winning Customers in Electronics” blends information Mody received while talking to high-tech business leaders about the future of the industry as well as his extensive experience in electronics. The book serves as a reference to develop strategy for and the execution of a usable, practical and easy way to understand the metrics required for businesses in the electronics field to enhance customer experience.

Specific processes to translate business goals into actionable metrics and create team action to improve businesses are featured, as well as business entities from customers to suppliers to installers, the role of management, common high-impact business metrics for success, customer value, relevant metrics for each business and statistics for managers and engineers.

Mody has served as vice president of quality for four electronics companies in the last 25 years. Mody, who has several degrees in engineering and business, has presented papers on cost avoidance to annual professional society conferences in the United States and other countries. His book “Quality in High-Volume Electronics Design, Manufacturing, and Deployment” was published in 2016.

Mody has taught graduate-level statistics and ASQC certification courses and served as a Malcolm Baldrige and a Six Sigma examiner, team member on the ASQC national speaker list and a reliability consultant to major companies in the United State, India, United Kingdom and China, auditing more than 200 electronics companies in 25 countries around the globe.
