Abstract

Amidst the current economic challenges and financial constraints, Public Private Partnerships (P3s) are gaining momentum as state and local governments resort to a deal structure that will, if handled properly, address budgetary issues and boost infrastructure investments and improvements. Private investors are also looking for revenues through the monetization of public infrastructure assets such as water/sewer systems and parking systems. While P3s may provide an economic boost and a greener landscape of government contracting, it is crucial for both public and private entities to keep themselves abreast of the latest developments so they may evaluate the benefits and the challenges surrounding P3s.

Listen as a panel of distinguished professionals and thought leaders organized by The Knowledge Group provide the audience with an overview of the latest trends and critical issues involving P3s. Speakers, among other things, will also offer helpful insights on the factors that need to be considered by both parties and how to mitigate common pitfalls and potential risks in case the partnerships were unproductive.

Some of the major key topics will include:

• Public Private Partnerships – Legal Landscape
• P3 Key Principles and Roles
• Key Features
• Regulatory Forecast
• Latest Developments and Challenges
• Market Trends and Sector Trends
