Melinda Myers Hits the Road Running on Flower Show Tour

Milwaukee, WI, February 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Gardening expert, TV host and author Melinda Myers will be a busy lady traveling the country for her 2008 Spring Flower Show Tour. This spring, Myers will be a featured speaker at numerous major flower shows across the United States. The tour begins in February and wraps up by the end of May. Myers will be a key presenter at the following shows:

"The tour is a great way for me to meet and reach a lot of gardeners from all over the country," said Myers. "My hope is that I can inspire not only veteran gardeners, but also those who have never had their hands in the dirt - especially children."

Myers will be presenting on a wide range of topics, including "Energy Wise Gardening," "Small Space Gardening," "Small Scale Plants with Big Impact," "Creating a Colorful Garden," and for the children "Build Your Own Plant," a hands-on activity that teaches kids about how plants grow.

Myers, best known for her practical, gardener-friendly approach to gardening, has more than 25 years of horticultural experience in both hands-on and instructional settings.
