Airhart Construction Debuts New Furnished Model at Fisher Farm in Winfield - Brand New Design to Lineup Has Buyers Lining Up

Winfield, IL, September 28, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Airhart Construction recently unveiled a new fully furnished Harrison model at Fisher Farm, its low-maintenance community of 71 semi-custom single-family homes in Winfield.

“When we started construction of our home for the recent Cavalcade Tour of Homes which we planned to keep as our model, it sold right after breaking ground,” said Court Airhart, president of Airhart Construction. “So we started construction immediately on this home and the new Harrison model has opened to rave reviews.”

The Harrison features three bedrooms and three full baths awash in a comfortable palette of grays and white. Among the home’s highlights are an open floor plan featuring a Great Room with a volume ceiling graced with white gloss beams and a fireplace. The spacious kitchen; complete with extended cabinets and an elongated island/breakfast bar, are accessed from the Great Room as is the formal dining room. The first floor master suite includes a sitting area, luxurious master bathroom with custom shower, large two-bowl vanity and access to a large walk-in closet. There is also a second bedroom on the first floor which can have a dual use as a home office, media room, etc. and has access to a full bath on the first floor.

The upper level features an extended guest suite, sitting area, loft and a study accessed by French doors. Skylights over the loft area bring in plenty of natural light. The study can easily be used as a home office or a fourth bedroom.

The genesis of the Harrison model was a direct result of the staff doing their homework, according to the builder.

“As trends change, our team continually evaluates how we are meeting the needs of our buyers and constantly ask ourselves: What are their needs and wants?” said Airhart. “We even do furniture layouts on the floor plan to ensure the spaces are comfortable and functional as part of this process. The Empty Nester/Baby Boomer buyers want their square footage in the right spaces and the Harrison delivers.”

“The extended cabinets and wine refrigerator is a great example of this design process,” said Christy Whelan Airhart Construction’s sales manager. “Our clients are looking for fun areas to entertain their guests and this feature, close to the kitchen, great room, and the outdoor patio was a natural to add an amenity like this.”

A Craftsman-style elevation with a stone façade and expansive porch, the Harrison has nine-foot ceilings on the first floor, a full basement, oak floors, brick paver patio, two-car attached garage, and white clapboard Hardiplank siding accented with black trimmed windows. Construction features include 2’ x 6’ walls, low-E windows, energy sealing performed prior to insulating and after drywall, high-efficiency furnace and air conditioner, Nu-Wool insulation and the attention to detail that Airhart Construction has been known for over the past 53 years.

While the Harrison could be built anywhere by Airhart Construction it is located in Airhart’s Fisher Farm neighborhood. Each home is fully landscaped with fully sodded yards and extensive, attractive landscaping throughout the property. Many home sites have views of the 18-hole public golf course. A monthly maintenance fee covers lawn care, snow removal and landscaping and common area maintenance, making it easy for residents to enjoy life without worrying about mowing the lawn or shoveling snow. Neighborhood highlights include two seating areas along the pond’s east side, a common meeting/park area and a walking/bike bath that connects to The Great Western Trail.

“Amenities aside, there’s nothing like the peace of mind a new construction home provides,” according to Christy Whelan. “A new home has a warranty which removes the question of unforeseen costs related to the life expectancy of the many home components when purchasing a resale home. Also, each home is independently tested for energy efficiency and the homeowner receives a Heat Performance Index certificate with a HERZ rating.”

Buyers can select from over 10 distinctive home designs at Fisher Farm. Prices range from the low $400’s to the low $700’s (all prices subject to change without notice).
