IPA-IBA President Named as Member of Toronto Board of Trade

IPA-IBA President Steinberg continues membership with the Toronto Board of Trade

Buffalo Grove, IL, March 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Gregg Steinberg’s membership in the Toronto Board of Trade has recently been renewed.

“By renewing your membership in the Board, you continue to be both a business leader and city builder,” said Brad Amato, Director of Membership Development.

Members of the Board receive various benefits including the opportunity to voice opinions regarding policy issues affecting Toronto’s business community, exclusive networking events and speaker series and membership in the World Trade Center network. In addition to these specific benefits, members can also partake in industry-specific events and volunteer opportunities.

The Toronto Board of Trade was originally founded in 1845 by members of the business community. Since its inception, the Board has been a champion of a competitive and vibrant city. The Board strives to contribute directly to its members’ success by acting as a dynamic business catalyst and providing innovative and valuable business tools, in addition to creating opportunities for governments and the business community to work together on issues important to its members.

The Board’s recent lobbying efforts have contributed to the development of the City of Toronto Act, helping bring millions of dollars in new public transit funding while saving Toronto businesses millions through limited property and corporate tax increases.
