)-- Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) welcomes a new Key Account Manager, Rich Emery, to the sales and service team. LTI is an independent metal testing and metrology laboratory specializing in commercial material testing, nondestructive testing, specimen machining, dimensional inspection and calibration services. As a Key Account Manager, Emery will assist with project management, prepare price estimates, cross-sell services and provide ongoing support for assigned accounts in a wide variety of industries, including aerospace, defense, power generation, medical and transportation.
Emery has employment experience in sales and account management, as well as metals and machining which will help in his transition to the new position. He most recently held a sales position with Pierce Aluminum, a fabricator of aluminum parts and final assemblies, and a distributor of aluminum products such as bar, pipe, plate and tube, all products routinely tested at LTI. He earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Philadelphia University and completed sales foundation training with Sandler Training.
Emery is also a co-owner of the Sea Isle City, NJ business called SIC Carts which opened in May 2016. This family-owned business sells and rents all-terrain carts and chairs that are popular for beach use.

Laboratory Testing Inc.’s efforts to provide unrivaled turnaround times and responsive service have extended beyond the sales and customer service departments. LTI has implemented a number of continuous improvement projects in recent years designed to streamline order processing and improve accuracy and completion times, including adopting the popular A3 and 5S methodologies. In addition, the Lab started off 2018 with a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system which was custom designed to allow all departments to work more efficiently and to improve collaboration.
