KDG’s Higher Ed Web Design Team Wins Two dotCOMM Awards

KDG has won two dotCOMM Awards for its work on new websites for Executive Education Academy Charter School and the Faraja Primary School.

Allentown, PA, August 15, 2018 --(PR.com)-- KDG’s Lehigh Valley web design team in Allentown has won two gold dotCOMM Awards for their recent redesigns of websites for Executive Education Academy Charter School and the Faraja Primary School. The dotCOMM Awards recognize excellence in dynamic website design.

Executive Education Academy Charter School in Allentown, PA and the Faraja Primary School in Tanzania, Africa may be an ocean apart, but both schools are dedicated to changing the lives of the students in their care, something KDG wanted to highlight in each unique site.

Executive Education Academy Charter School, or EEACS, is a K-12 charter school in the Lehigh Valley that prepares students for college and careers with community partnerships and a unique corporate curriculum. In addition to original photos and videos of students at work and at play, the site features distinct portals so parents, teachers, and students can find the information they need. (The school’s website can be viewed at https://www.ee-schools.org/.)

The website for the Faraja Primary School for Children with Physical Disabilities was a pro bono project completed by KDG. The website showcases student stories and pictures. More than 200 children are provided an education and medical care through the school. (The school’s website can be viewed at https://www.farajaschool.org/.)

“These schools are making a difference in the lives of their students,” says Claudia Grossmann, UI/UX designer at KDG. “The sites are a way to help them share their story and spread their mission. We are so glad judges recognized these schools.”

The dotCOMM Awards are only the latest the higher ed web design team at KDG has been recognized with. In 2018, KDG’s web design team has been awarded two AVA Awards, a Communicator Award, three Hermes Creative Awards, a Summit Creative Award, and two Horizon Interactive Awards.
