Abstract

The United States combats anticompetitive conduct through the efforts of federal enforcers (such as the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission), state enforcers and civil litigants. These public and private enforcement groups play complementary roles. For example, private antitrust class action lawsuits seeking treble damages often follow investigations by U.S. enforcers probing potential antitrust violations in a particular industry. This live webcast will provide the audience with an in-depth discussion of the fundamentals as well as recent updates in Antitrust Class Actions. A team of thought leaders brought together by The Knowledge Group will identify key issues and trends surrounding this significant topic. They will also go beyond the basics and present the best practices and practical tips to avoid potential risks and legal pitfalls.

Key topics include:

• Antitrust Class Actions: 2018 Landscape
• Significant Court Decisions
• Trends, Developments and Updates
• Identifying Key Issues and Trends
• Addressing Common Risks and Pitfalls
