Held on a riverfront cabin in The Great Smokey Mountains in Tennessee, September 21-23, 2018, Curvy Campcation promotes women empowerment, positive mental health and confidence building for curvy people to break down barriers, embrace themselves, and engage in a dynamic weekend including mixer meets, networking power hours with confidence coaches and public figures, along with a range of fun activities.
Co-founded by advocate and human service worker, Chrisy Chris, who profoundly understands the impact of positive mental health and body positivity within the community (and lack thereof), “WooPlus revealed that a shocking number of women have been harassed on a number of general dating apps - more than 71% claiming that they've been fat-shamed,” she shared. “WooPlus launched to provide a more enlightened and diverse app to the dating community.
